n. 1 the act or an instance of rising from the dead. 2 (Resurrection) a Christ's rising from the dead. b the rising of the dead at the Last Judgement. 3 a revival after disuse, inactivity, or decay. 4 exhumation. 5 the unearthing of a lost or forgotten thing; restoration to vogue or memory.
